Closer to home
Sceon and Berne are the earliest known names for Sheen and Barnes, as recorded in the Domesday Book. This perfectly reflects our own local roots and where the company started.
The etymology of our name also bears relevance: Sceon comes from the old English word for shelter, while Berne means barn or storehouse.
